Planetary nebulae

Notizen: I recently stumbled upon one of Martin Germano's great pictures in "The night sky observer's guide" of this LARGE planetary nebula (which is also called Jones1) and had to try it myself. Skies were mag 4, but the UHC filter cuts through light pollution nicely. I probably should have done longer exposures than 10 minutes, but as my webcam autoguider didn't see any stars near the planetary I had to guide on something about 15 degrees away, so I would have got field rotation in longer images. Taken from the middle of Berlin with an 8" LX200 at f/4, MX512 camera, webcam autoguider and UHC filter for 15x10 minutes.
