This is a nebula complex around IC 2162 in Orion. The various parts of it also are called Sharpless 254-258. The brightest part (Sh2-255) has a remarkable resemblance to the emission part of the Trifid nebula (M20).
Some of the frames were compromised by thin clouds, but choosing only the best frames didn't give better results so I stacked all exposures that looked reasonably good.

Taken from the middle of Berlin with an 8" LX200 at f/4.4, MX716 camera, video autoguider, Astronomik Halpha filter for 27x10 minutes.
