Notizen: M109 proved to be a tougher target than expected. From the individual raw frames I had thought that I would get a good s/n ratio, but somehow the stacked version wasn't as good as expected. The colour channels have much too short exposure times, but approaching daylight forced me to keep them short. I also had to process the picture darker than I usually do because there were strange "beams" of light coming from the upper right corner of the image, maybe reflections of the mag 2 star not too far to the northwest of M109. Taken from the middle of Berlin with an 8" LX200 at f/6.3, MX716 camera, video autoguider, 12x10 minutes for L, 6x5 minutes for blue and 3x5 min for green and red.
