Notizen: This is the light echo around V838 Mon as imaged on January 31 2003. Even at this focal length (800mm) the seeing was blurring the image, so trying anything "highres" would not have been possible. Taken from the middle of Berlin with an 8" LX200 at f/4, MX716 camera, video autoguider, luminance 3x10 minutes, colour 5 minutes each with 2x2 binning.
