Notizen: This is NGC 2261 (Hubble's variable nebula) in Monoceros. As the main parts of this nebula are quite bright I used short individual exposures to minimize tracking errors (which I usually have when imaging without the focal reducer). Taken from the middle of Berlin with an 8" LX200 at f/6.3, MX716 camera, video autoguider, 28x3 minutes for L, 12x1 minutes each for RGB.
